HOW I COOK CHICKEN ADOBO - KETO FRIENDLY

Adobo is one of the favorite dishes of most Filipinos. We all have a different version of how to cook it, some prefer it to dry with added potatoes and others not. But for me, I always prefer it to have broth in it because my daughter loves it. So here's how I cook chicken adobo.

Ingredients:

1kg chicken (karne)
onion
garlic
laurel leaves
black pepper
soy sauce
apple cider vinegar
sugar [when you're on keto use stevia powder as sweetener]
ginisa mix

I'm so sorry, I'm not a chef or a cooking expert so I don't measure ingredients when cooking. I just use 2 kinds of senses to perfect my dish. That's sense of smell and taste, of course, the art of estimating.

Let's start.

Steps:

1. I prefer all these ingredients first for marinating the chicken. Put everything in a bowl with your estimated measure of chicken meat, laurel leaves, black pepper, ginisa mix and soy sauce. Let it soaked for at least 1 to 2 hours depends on you. :)

2.  Now, its ready to cook on a fire. Using a frying pan, add a small amount of coconut oil and saute the chop seasoning onion and garlic. Do not overcook them so the nutrients will stay, add the marinated chicken after. Stir and let it boiled.

3. Add 1 cup of clean water (If you want it dry skip with this.) Let it cook for an hour. I Prefer slow cooker to make it tastier. It looks like this:

So we're done! What about you? How do you cook chicken adobo?
